What about the George Washington statues?

Because I’m not too elitist to argue with fools and their slippery slope arguments…
Let’s compare and contrast slave-owner George Washington and slave-owner Robert E. Lee.
George Washington led a revolutionary army against British Monarchy. This resulted in a Republic with a democratic framework for progressive change. This Republic, our United States, constitutionally abolished slavery. George Washington is a hero of the revolution that resulted in that.
Robert E. Lee led a revolutionary army against the United States.
The goal and the ideology of the American Revolution had nothing to do with a biblical interpretation or economic desire to preserve slavery. The treason of the Confederacy had very much to do with that. That was stated in the declarations of the confederate states.
I hope I cleared up some confusion. You’re welcome.
